Computer scientist, programmer, enthusiast.
I work on search technology at A9, Amazon's subsidiary in Palo Alto. Prior to this, I was a scientist at Yahoo! Labs, working on problems related to computational advertising and stream computing. Before this, I worked on algorithms for evaluating speaking proficiency at Ordinate.
I went to graduate school at USC, where I worked on problems in computational linguistics. I got my undergraduate engineering degree from Mumbai University.
My professional interests include machine learning, distributed systems and computational linguistics.
I bike, snowboard, hike, rock-climb, and will attempt to play any sport; all with varying degrees of ineptitude.
Husband to Neha.
